Netfocus presents DirecTrust Mail
11/03/2006
netfocus is launching DirecTrust Mail on the market. A security product that renders the email service more reliable and trustworthy, DirecTrust Mail guarantees the source of messages and their integrity or non-corruption between sender and recipient, as well as the privacy and confidentiality of the information contained therein.
DirecTrust Mail is designed to be integrated into organisations’ corporate email services, where it channels incoming and outgoing messages through a safe server, which digitally signs each message and confirms its authenticity and reliability.
The source and recipient of each message are thus certified and guaranteed. Additionally, this eTransformation solution provides users with a verification portal whereby they can check the validity of the mail they receive.
Furthermore, DirecTrust Mail straightforwardly standardises the use of electronic signatures in organisations, applying digital signature policies to all incoming and outgoing messages in a centralised, automatic fashion.
Thanks to the netfocus DirecTrust Stamp, a collection of easily comprehensible visual, technical and cryptographic elements applied to an organisation’s incoming and outgoing messages, end users can place their full trust in the email they receive. It is thus unnecessary for them to learn cryptographic techniques, which, rather than simplifying matters, complicate the use of email systems.
Through this solution, netfocus is offering organisations a highly effective system for preventing and combating potential attacks involving phishing, Trojans or spyware. In addition, DirecTrust Mail features centralised electronic certificate storage, thus avoiding the loss or improper use of such digital documents. The product also entails reduced costs, given that it makes it unnecessary to distribute individual certificates and cryptographic readers throughout entire organisations.
