The service of validation of digital signature of CATcert supported by technology of netfocus breaks the record of validations

The service of digital signature validation, developed and implanted by netfocus, a company specialized in complete solutions for the secure exchange of valuable information in electronic media, for the Catalan Agency of Certification (CATCert) has turned a year from its beginning the past May of the 2005.
During these twelve months of life, the technology unfolded by netfocus for the organism participated by the Catalunya's Autonomous government and the Localret partnership has carried out 778,000 digital validations of signatures and certificates, which supposes an average of more than 2,130 daily validations.
"These numbers", says Carlos Abarca, netfocus CEO, "locate to the platform developed by netfocus for CATCert like a state reference in number of validations of electronic signature".
This service simplifies management and maintenance of telematic services to the Catalan public administrations, since it allows that the applications that use digital certificates and electronic signatures are released of the management related to the verification of the validity of signatures and certificates, management that the platform of validation of CATCert makes, supported by technology of netfocus.
